The next time someone is explaining how they became successful, listen very closely. It sounds like they are reading out their DNA sequence. Of course they are successful, they are basically telling you who they are.
And this is the take home message, you don’t become successful by becoming other people. You don’t become as successful as Bill Gates by doing EXACTLY what Bill Gates did. If you don’t believe me, try it, go and create a clone of Windows 1.0 and work your way up from there.
Being Bill Gates is already taken. Doing exactly as, and learning from other people are two different things. You shouldn’t take my word for it, go out there and find what works for you.
