After seeing a video about ‘How to fix broken states’ I have started looking into frameworks that can be used by African countries as guides on how to run a country and/or improve processes. I suspect this is going to be a very interesting journey.
When I came across http://www.ted.com the first things I thought was, ‘where has this information been? I could have spent some of my wasted time learning and listening to many wonderful speakers’ and ‘why was this information (videos) hidden’. I exceeded my download limit last month because I got too excited about learning all this stuff. And I encourage you to view a few of the videos. My guess is that you will not be disappointed.
I will be buying the book by Ashraf Ghani and Clare Lockhart titled: Fixing Failed States: A Framework for Rebuilding a Fractured World.
I bet it will blow my mind away.
